Aloha, going to Hawaii first time next week. Are there other ways of getting around other than flights, last minute? Maui to the Big Island. So expensive last minute, I don't want to write my dates in stone. I know the Superferry's not going bet. Maui and Big Island, but I'm wondering if anyone has ever gone by a day cruise or by boat in any way. Anybody know any alternatives? I'll be on the south side of Maui. Mahalo. Bart

Have you checked this out: www.iflygo.com/ ? They advertise $39 one-way inter-island flights.
BTW, where are you going on the Big Island, and how long will you be there?
